Josephine Schwab

Josephine Schwab is a Scotland-based futurist and interdisciplinary strategist with expertise in European security, geopolitics, and x-risk governance – especially AI safety governance, cross-border coordination, incident classification, international law reporting, probability reasoning, research, and risk analysis. She is a current (March 2026) Research Associate with the Arcadia Impact AI Governance Taskforce, and a former Veritas Forecasting Research Fellow with The Midas Project.

Currently studying an MA in Global Diplomacy, she holds high-level global governance experience as a Country Representative to the Global Ecovillage Network (UN consultancy status), and is academically published through the European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights as a former Senior Research Fellow in European Security. Her article “Diplomacy in the Age of AGI”, was featured by Futures4Europe, the European Commission’s foresight community platform. What her workstreams all have in common is a keen interest in advancing more resilient futures for humanity.
